Fault Possible cause and solution
Fault 73

"Check the brew
unit"
The brew unit cannot reset to the correct position or it is
clogged and the ground coffee cannot be processed.
^
Check if you can remove the brew unit (see "Cleaning and
care – Brew unit").
^
If you can remove the brew unit, clean it (see "Cleaning
and care – Brew unit").
^ Push the coffee ejector of the brew unit into the correct
position (see image).
^ Reinsert the waste unit and the water tank. Do not insert
the brew unit. Close the door and turn on the coffee
machine using the On/Off button K .
The brew unit motor will automatically move to the correct
position.
^
When the message "Insert the brew unit" is displayed, open
the door and reinsert all parts into the unit.
If you cannot remove the brew unit:

Turn off the coffee machine using the On/Off button K .
Wait about 2 minutes and then turn it on again.
