Mains water connection
Danger of injury and machine
damage if machine is not connected
properly.
Failing to connect the machine prop-
erly can result in personal injury and/
or material damage.
The machine may only be connected
to the mains water supply by suitably
qualified persons.
Risk to health and risk of dam-
age due to contaminated water.
The quality of the incoming water
must conform to the requirements for
drinking water in the country where
the steam oven is being used.
Connect the steam oven to the water
supply.
Connection to the water supply must
comply with the applicable regula-
tions in the country where the appli-
ance is being installed. All units and
systems used to supply water to the
steam oven must also comply with
the applicable regulations in the re-
spective country.
The steam oven meets the require-
ments of IEC61770 and EN61770.
The steam oven may only be con-
nected to a cold water supply.
If an upstream domestic water
softening unit is connected, please
make sure that the conductivity level
of the water is maintained.
Water damage due to contamin-
ation.
Impurities in the water supply may
accumulate in the valve of the steam
oven. The valve can no longer close
and water is streaming out.
Flush the water lines before connect-
ing the steam oven or when working
on the water supply line.
A non-return valve is not required be-
cause the steam oven complies with
applicable DIN standards.
The water-connection pressure needs
to be between 100kPa (1bar) and
600kPa (6bar). If the pressure is higher
than 600kPa, a pressure reducing valve
must be fitted.
A stopcock must be provided between
the stainless-steel hose and the house-
hold water supply to ensure that the
water supply can be cut off if neces-
sary. Make sure the stopcock remains
easily accessible once the steam oven
has been installed.
