Electrical connection
43
Installation, maintenance or re-
pair work by unqualified persons
could be extremely dangerous. The
manufacturer cannot be held liable
for unauthorised work.
All electrical work should only be un-
dertaken by a suitably qualified and
competent electrician in strict ac-
cordance with current national and
local safety and building code regu-
lations.
This cooker hood must only be connec-
ted to a properly installed power supply.
The electrical installation must be in
compliance with current local and na-
tional safety regulations, (e.g. VDE0100
in Germany/BS7671 in the UK).
For increased safety we recommend the
use of a residual current device with a
trip current of 30mA (DINVDE0664).
A suitable means of disconnection must
be provided on site for each pole. Suit-
able means of disconnection include
switches with an all-pole contact gap of
at least 3mm. These include circuit
breakers, fuses and contactors
(EN60335).
The relevant connection data can be
found on the data plate (see “After
Sales/Warranty”). Ensure that this data
matches the voltage and frequency of
your household power supply.
