Resetting the charcoal filter operat-
ing hours counter
After reactivating the charcoal filters,
the operating hours counter needs to
be reset.
 To do this, with the fan switched on,
press the operating hours con-
trol twice, then hold it for ap-
prox. 3seconds, until only 1 is flash-
ing.
The charcoal filter symbol will go
out.
If you want to reactivate the charcoal fil-
ters before the operating hours counter
has reached its maximum:
 Press the operating hours con-
trol twice and hold it for approx.
6seconds, until only 1 is flashing.
Service life
The charcoal filters should be replaced
every 3 years.
Charcoal filters are available to order via
the Miele Webshop, the Miele Spare
Parts Department (see end of this book-
let for contact details) or from your
Miele dealer.
The charcoal filters are listed under
“Technical data” at the back of this
booklet.
Disposing of charcoal filters
 Used charcoal filters can be disposed
of with normal household waste.
