When deciding on the safety
distance between the cooktop and
rangehood, please note that a
distance of 650 mm above electric
cooktops may be preferable to give
more working space under the
rangehood.

Account should also be taken of the
height of the person who will be
using the rangehood most often.
They should have sufficient space to
work comfortably at the cooktop, and
be able to reach the rangehood
controls with ease.
– Please note that if the rangehood is
positioned too high, extraction will be
inefficient.
– If you want the top of the rangehood
to be mounted flush with the ceiling,
make sure there is adequate space
below it for working.
Drill holes
For pre-installation on a back wall, refer
to the drilling distances in the drawing
above (screws ø 5 mm).
If the rangehood is to be mounted
directly to the wall, please refer to the
installation manual for information on
drilling the holes.
