Problem Possible cause and solution
The unit suddenly
stopped
preparing a
beverage.
If the water tank is emptied during beverage preparation, the
display will show the message "Continue preparation? yes /
no" after the water tank has been refilled and inserted. If you
do not confirm this message with "yes" within 5 minutes, the
machine will stop preparing the beverage.
The plumbed water intake is faulty.

Check for kinks in the water intake hose and open the
water supply all the way.
The water tank ran empty during beverage preparation but
"plumbed water supply - on" is selected and the coffee
machine is not connected to a plumbed water supply.
^ Check the plumbed water supply settings (see "Settings –
Plumbed water supply").
"Please wait" or
"Preheating"
appears
permanently. No
beverages can be
prepared.
It is possible that "Plumbed water connection - on" is
selected and the coffee machine is not connected to a
plumbed water supply.
^ Fill the water tank.
^ Then check the plumbed water supply settings (see
"Settings – Plumbed water connection").
