– Use a pan lid whenever possible to
minimise heat loss.
– Wide, shallow pans are preferable to
tall, narrow ones. They will heat up
faster.
– Cook with as little water as possible.
– Reduce the power setting once the
water has come to the boil or the oil
is hot enough to fry in.
– Use a pressure cooker to reduce
cooking times.
