Before using for the first time

Please stick the extra data plate for
the appliance supplied with this doc-
umentation in the space provided in
the “After sales service” section of
this booklet.
Remove any protective wrapping and
stickers.
Cleaning the SmartLine ele-
ment for the first time
Clean all removable parts of the burn-
ers with a solution of warm water and
a small amount of washing-up liquid
applied with a soft sponge. Dry all
parts thoroughly after cleaning and
then reassemble the burners (see
“Cleaning and care”).
Clean the ceramic surface with a
damp cloth, and then wipe dry.
Switching on the SmartLine
element for the first time
The metal components have a protect-
ive coating. Smells and possibly some
vapours may occur when the SmartLine
element is used for the first time.
The smell and any vapours given off do
not indicate a faulty connection or ap-
pliance and they are not hazardous to
health.
