Keeping warm
Each cooking zone has a keeping
warm function.
If the keeping warm function has been
activated, the cooking zone will switch
off automatically after a maximum of 2
hours.
This function is for keeping food that
has just been cooked warm, i.e.
food that is still hot. It is not for
reheating food that has gone cold.
Useful tips
Only use pans for keeping food warm.
Cover the pan with a lid.
You do not have to stir food while it is
being kept warm.
Nutrients are lost when food is cooked,
and continue to diminish when food is
kept warm. The longer food is kept
warm for, the greater the loss of
nutrients. Try to ensure that food is kept
warm for as short a time as possible.
