Evaporating the coffee system
The coffee machine pipework should be
evaporated before it is stored for a long

distance – particularly at temperatures
below freezing.
Evaporating the machine involves
removing all traces of water from the
system to prevent the risk of water and
frost damage.
The Drinksmenu is displayed.

Hot steam can cause scalding.
Keep away from the area underneath
the dispensers when steam or hot
liquids are being dispensed.

Tap.
Select Settings and then Service.
Select Evaporate and then Yes.
Follow the instructions on the display.
Remove the descaling cartridge and
seal it with the cap.
Once filled with water, the descaling
cartridge has a max. shelf life of three
weeks outside of the machine. The
cartridge should be stored upright, in
a dark place, and at room temperature

cartridge.
When the display goes out, the
machine has finished evaporating.
