Miele high-power LED lighting
LED spotlights are not only an optical
highlight. For ecological reasons, too,
Miele decided to be the first manufacturer
to use high-power LED lighting especially
developed for Miele cooker hoods. This
makes considerable energy savings
possible. A Miele high-power LED spotlight
consumes only 2 W per hour. In contrast to
conventional LED spotlights, the Miele
high-power unit produces a warm, natural
light tone and guarantees uniform
downlighting. Furthermore, these spotlights
are tested to last 20 years, i.e. to outlive the
appliance itself in terms of life expectancy.
Energy-saving motor
The heart and soul of every cooker hood is
the motor. Miele ceiling extractors feature a
DC motor. Compared with conventional
motors, it saves up to 70% energy, is
particularly quiet and is as powerful as
other Miele cooker hoods.
