Drainage
Only use the water drain hose in-
cluded. The water drain hose must
not be shortened, extended or re-
placed by a different hose.
Old or previously used hoses must
not be connected to the combination
steam oven.
The water drain hose must only be
replaced by an original Miele part.
You can purchase a water drain hose
from the Miele online shop, the Miele
Customer Service Department or
your Miele dealer.
The drainage siphon must not be
located higher than the drain con-
nection point on the combination
steam oven. This is to ensure that
water can drain out completely after
a programme.
The top end of the water drain hose
to where it connects to the siphon
must not be higher than 500mm.
The water drain hose included has a
length of 3.0m.
A water drain hose with a length of
5.0m is available from the Miele online
shop, the Miele Customer Service De-
partment or your Miele dealer if needed.
The drain hose can be connected to
either:
- A siphon with a fixed hose connec-
tion point or the siphon on the sink
drain pipe
- The connection point on a sink drain-
age siphon
The temperature of the drainage water
is 70°C.
Connecting the drain hose
Connect the drain hose to the siphon
using the hose clip.
Then secure the drain hose with the
hose clip.
