Problem Cause and remedy
You cannot open the
door with the sensor
control.
You have selected the Display| QuickTouch| Offset-
ting. The sensor control does not respond when
the combination steam oven is switched off.
 As soon as the combination steam oven is
switched on, the sensor controls will respond. If
you want the sensor controls to always respond
even when the combination steam oven is
switched off, select the Display| QuickTouch|
Onsetting.
There may be a technical fault.
 If you need to open the door, e.g. because there is
still food in the oven compartment, you will need
to open the door manually (see end of this sec-
tion).
 If the problem occurs again, contact the Miele
Customer Service Department.
HydroCleaner (cleaning
agent) has been put in
the water container.
The instructions on the display were not followed.
If the cleaning process with HydroClean has not yet
started:
 Switch the combination steam oven off to cancel
the cleaning process.
 Empty the water container and rinse it thoroughly.
If the cleaning process with HydroClean has already
been carried out:
there may be cleaning agent residues in the steam
generator that need to be removed before starting
the next cooking process:
 Rinse the system four times in succession with the
Rinsecare programme (see “Cleaning and care” –
“Care”).
 If in doubt, call the Miele Customer Service De-
partment.
