Using the food probe
Remove the food probe from its
holder behind the panel.
Insert the metal tip of the food probe
completely into the centre of the food
all the way to the handle.
If you are cooking several pieces of
meat at the same time, insert the food
probe into the largest piece of meat.
The handle should be pointing diagon-
ally upwards.
Place the food in the oven compart-
ment.
Close the door.
Select the operating mode or auto-
matic programme.
Set the temperature and the core
temperature if necessary.
The core temperatures cannot be
changed for the automatic pro-
grammes.
Follow the instructions on the display.
The cooking process is brought to an
end as soon as the core temperature is
reached.
Risk of injury caused by hot sur-
faces.
The handle of the food probe can get
hot. You can burn yourself on the
handle.
Wear oven gloves when removing
the food probe.
Tip: If the food is not cooked suffi-
ciently when the core temperature is
reached, insert the food probe into an-
other place or increase the core tem-
perature and repeat the programme.
Delaying the start of a cooking pro-
gramme with food probe
You can set the cooking programme to
start at a later time.
SelectStart at.
The finish time can be calculated ap-
proximately because the duration of a
cooking programme is about the same,
whether or not the food probe is used.
You cannot set Duration and Finish at be-
cause the total cooking duration is de-
termined by when the set core temper-
ature is reached.
