Problem Cause and remedy
The door cannot be
opened.
You have selected the Display| QuickTouch| Off set-
ting. The sensor control does not respond when
the steam oven is switched off.
As soon as the steam oven is switched on, the
sensor controls will respond. If you want the
sensor controls to always respond even when the
steam oven is switched off, select the Display|
QuickTouch| Onsetting.
There may be a technical fault.
If you need to open the door, e.g. because there is
still food in the oven compartment, you will need
to open the door manually (see end of this
chapter).
If the problem occurs again, contact the Miele
Customer Service Department.
