Switching on and off

Before using for the first time
Packaging material
Remove all packaging material from
the inside of the appliance.
Cleaning the appliance
Please refer to the relevant instruc-
tions in “Cleaning and care”.
Clean the inside of the appliance and
the accessories.
Switching on
To enable the temperature to get suffi-
ciently cold inside the appliance, allow
the appliance to run for approx.
2hours before placing food in it.
Do not place food in the freezer until
the temperature is at least -18°C.
Press the On/Off button.
The appliance will start to cool and the
temperature required will appear in the
temperature display. The temperature
display and the alarm symbol will
flash simultaneously until the required
temperature is reached.
Switching off
Press the On/Off button until the dis-
play goes out.
If this does not happen, the safety
lock is still activated (see "Selecting
further settings - To deactivate the
safety lock).
The interior lighting will go out and the
cooling process will be switched off.
