steamproductionandkeepthe
appliancefromrollingsideways.
Aheight-adjustablechairandaflat
surfaceforstackingcompleteditems
willbeuseful.
Havethefollowingcloseby:

totheleftoftheiron,placeabasket
withlaundryreadyforironing,

totherightoftheiron,haveasurface
forstackingtheironedarticles.
Shirts,smocks,blouses,etc.,shouldbe
hungonhangersimmediatelyafter
ironing.
Smallitemscanbehungoverthe
swing-outrod.
Havesomewaterhandytore-dampen
thelaundryasneeded.
Preparingthelaundry
Properpreparationofthelaundryis
essentialforgoodresults.
Beforeironing,laundryshouldbe:

steam)

pulledintoshapeandsmoothedout

Properdampness(foroperation
withoutsteam)
Thelaundryneedstobesufficiently
dampsothatonthefirstpassthrough
therotaryironatthecorrect
temperatureitwillcomeoutsmooth
anddry.Dampenthelaundryasyou
wouldforhandironing;preferably
severalhoursbeforehandsothatthe
articlesachieveauniformdegreeof
dampnessthroughout.
If a tumble dryer is being used, select a
"Machine iron" program.

water to re-dampen.
