Shine 10 MA
ProCare
Cleaning agent
Use
ProCare Shine 10 MA is a liquid, mildly alkaline cleaning agent (liquid concentrate) for machine cleaning
of dishes in commercial dishwashers with fresh water or tank systems.
Due to its formulation ProCare Shine 10 MA is only classified with 'Warning'. This simplifies handling
and represents an advantage over other proprietary cleaning agents for commercial dishwashers with a
higher hazard classification (“Danger”).
Product features
• Universal cleaning agent with good cleaning performance for light to medium soiling
• Prevents formation of limescale and protects loads
• Protects against corrosion
• Suitable for use with any load, including glass, aluminium and silver
• Protects decor
• Contains alkalis and complexing agents
• Does not contain phosphates or active chlorine
ProCare Shine 10 MA is intended for commercial use only.
Use and dispensing
ProCare Shine 10 MA is designed for use in programmes in Miele Professional commercial dish-
washers.
• Precise and economic dispensing via dispenser pump
• Dispensing recommendation: 2-5 ml/l (0.2-0.5%)
• Recommended water hardness range: 0-3 °dH (0-0.5 mmol/l)
Cleaning agent should be dispensed and the programme selected to suit the load and the level of
soiling. An unsuitable programme or dispensing too little or too much cleaning agent can lead to un-
satisfactory cleaning results. Adjustments can be made as necessary starting from the factory default
setting (generally 0.3% for Miele machines).
We recommend using soft water (0 - 3°dH /0 - 0.5 mmol/l) in dishwashers. Harder water (up to max.
8 dH / 1.4 mmol/l) can be compensated for by using a higher dispensing concentration. To protect the
dishwasher and the load we recommend the use of a water treatment system (e.g. an internal or exter-
nal water softening system) to achieve the water hardness range specified.
Please note:
• Do not mix with other products.
• The dispensing system must be rinsed with water and vented prior to a change of product.
• Operating instructions for Miele Professional dishwashers must be observed.
Sinner’s circle
Sinner’s circle describes the mechanisms required in a cleaning process.
According to this, four factors determine the success of cleaning: chemi-
cal agent, mechanical action, temperature and programme duration. All four
factors are dependent on each other, however the ratio of one to the other
can be adjusted. If one factor is altered, the ratio of one or more of the other
factors must be altered to achieve the same cleaning result. When compared
to standard domestic dishwashers, commercial dishwasher programmes have
considerably shorter programme durations. This is attributable to strong alka-
line cleaning agents and a high-performance cleaning system.
When using a mildly alkaline cleaning agent such as e.g. ProCare Shine 10 MA, excellent cleaning
results can be achieved by selecting a suitable programme, adjusting the temperature and/or duration
if necessary.
