Assembly Instructions
Cut to t and attach end wall fascia trim from 1x6 boards. From 1×4 boards, measure
and cut 8 corner trim pieces. From a 1×4×10' piece mark and cut trim for the top of
the door opening, extending out to meet the lower roof trim. Nail to building.
STEP 16. OSB ROOF & TRIMS
STEP 13. FLOOR SHEATHING
• 8' Building: Cut two ¾" sheets of 4'×8' to
48"×95" and one ¾" 4'×8' sheet to 24"×95".
• 10' Building: Cut two 4'×8' ¾" sheets to
47½"×96". Cut another 4'×8' sheet into 24"×95½"
and 24"×47½". Use another full 4'×8' ¾" sheet.
• 12' Building: Use one 4'×8' ¾" sheet. Cut two
4'×8' ¾" sheets to 47½"×96". From another
4'×8' sheet cut pieces 24"×95½" and 24"×47½".
• 16' Building: Use two 4'×8' ¾" sheets. Cut two
4'×8' ¾" sheets to 47½"×96". Cut one to two 24"×95½".
• 20' Building: Use three 4'×8' ¾" sheets. Cut two 4'×8' sheets to 47½"×96".
Cut another sheet to two 24"×95½". Cut 24"×48" from another 4'×8' sheet.
Nail 1"×6" trim boards to exposed ends of roof overhangs
for the fascia using 8d nails. The top edge of the fascia
board should be ½" above the top of the roof frame member
to cover the exposed roof sheathing edge.
Roof sheathing covers siding on end walls. Nail in place
using 6d nails every 8" on center. Stagger OSB sheathing
end joints from frame to frame whenever possible.
• 8' Building: For the low roof use (2) 4'×8' OSB sheets
and cut another into (2)11"×96" pieces. Cut (2) 4'×8' sheets
to (2) 37¾"×96" and (2) 7½"×96" for the rest of the roof.
• 10' Building: For the low roof, cut (5) 4'×8' OSB sheets
to 48"×59". Cut one of these pieces into (2) 24"×59".
Cut the low roof leftovers for the high roof: (2) 24"×37¾"
and for the overhangs: (2) 7½"×24". Also for the high roof
cut (2) 4'×8' sheets into 37¾"×96". Trim leftovers for the overhangs into (2) 7½"×96".
• 12' Building: For the high roof cut (3) 4'×8' OSB sheets into 37¾"×96". Cut one in
half to (2) 37¾"×48". Trim leftovers for overhangs to (3) 7½"×96". Cut one in half
to (2) 7½"×48". For the low roof, cut (6) 4'×8' OSB sheets to 59". See gure 11.
• 16' Building: For the high roof cut (4) 4'×8' OSB sheets into 37¾"×96". Trim
leftovers into overhangs of 7½"×96". For the low roof, cut (8) 4'×8' sheets to 59".
• 20' Building: For the high roof cut (5) 4'×8' OSB sheets into 37¾"×96". Cut one of
those into (2) 37¾"×48". Trim leftovers into overhangs of (5) 7½"×96". Cut one of those
7½"×96" pieces into (2) 7½"×48". For the low roof, cut (10) 4'×8' sheets to 59".
Apply roof edge and felt. Apply shingles as per instructions printed on bundles.
• 8' Building: two 1"×6"×8' boards.
•10' Building: two 1"×6"×10' boards.
•12' Building: two 1"×6"×12' boards.
•16' Building: four 1"×6"×8' boards.
•20' Building: four 1"×6"×10' boards.
Notch and adjust as necessary.
Stagger end butt joints front to
back. Fasten with 8d nails.

STEP 15. FASCIA
Use siding pieces from Step 6.
All splicing is done on centers of frames.
Notch siding at the top to t around E-Z frame overhangs. Place cut edges at corners. Make certain
end walls and frames are plumb (vertically level) and then fasten using 6d nails.
