Using one frame selected as an end wall, measure and mark stud locations according to dimensions
shown in gure 2. Mark required length and angles. Cut each 2×4 to t. Nail studs into place using
8d and 10d nails top and bottom. Repeat for the front wall using gure 3 as a guide.
Measure and cut your siding for the side walls of your yard barn. All lengths are 57½" high. Save cut
os for use in the top end wall areas. Each building requires four sheets of 48"×57½", wide enough
to cover the front and back end wall siding. No more are needed for an 8' building, 10' building
add two 24"×57½" pieces, 12' building use two more 48"×57½" sheets, 16' building use four more
48"×57½" sheets, 20' building use six more 48"×57½" sheets.

Cut one full 48"×96" sheet of siding into four
12"×96" pieces. Lay two of those face down
with two full sheets and two cut o pieces from
step 6 using gure 4 as a guide. Mark and cut
pieces as required. Nail siding onto back wall
frame with 6d nails every 8" on center.
Lay the remaining two 12"×96" pieces face down
with two full sheets and two cut o pieces from
step 6 using gure 5 as a guide. For the doors
extend outlines out 1" in all directions and cut
“new” lines. Align siding and nail in place with 6d
nails 8" on center.
