Local App Manual
7 | P a g e
This is the second configuration screen this is accessed by Clicking Config then Classic. There are three
settings for you to adjust here.
The first is the Power meter scale. This lets you select a 1,2,3,4 or 5kw scale for the Power meter.
The second box allows you to name your Classic. After you enter the name you have given your Classic
click the enter button to the right to save it to the Classic. This is stored in the Classic’s memory and
will be remembered even if the Classic is power cycled.
The third box allows you to change the TCP Port assigned to that Classic. This will normally be left as
502 but may need to be changed for certain applications. For example you may have multiple Classics
and want to access them over the internet and most normal routers only allow a Port to be forwarded
to one IP address. If you have multiple Classics you will need to switch all but one of them to different
ports. We suggest using 503 and 504 and so on but you will want to check your router and make sure
nothing else is using the ports you will be assigning. Once you issue a new port number to the Classic
the Software will no longer Auto detect it so you will need to go to “Setting up the local app to find the
Classic on the internet” and add the Classic Manually.
