Important Information
Safety Instructions
The primary concern of Midmark is that this equipment is operated and maintained with the safety of the
patient and sta󰀨 in mind. To assure safe and reliable operation:
Read and understand this manual before attempting to setup or operate the ultrasonic.
Assure that the appropriate personnel are informed on the contents of this manual.
(This is the responsibility of the purchaser).
Assure that this manual is located near the ultrasonic.
Equipment Alert
Do not operate the ultrasonic cleaner dry. Ensure that the bath contains water-
based solutions before use.
Always ensure the liquid is above the level sensor when in operation.
Do not place parts or containers directly on the bottom of the cleaning tank;
always use a basket to suspend items. Failure to comply may cause damage
to the transducers and will void your warranty.
Do not place hands or fingers in the tank. Doing so may cause discomfort and
possible skin irritation. Avoid contact with solutions.
Do not move the ultrasonic when it contains water.
Do not put hot water above 122°F (50°C) into the ultrasonic.
Never use alcohol, gasoline or flammable solutions in your unit. Doing so may
cause a fire or explosion and will void your warranty.
Do not use mineral acids. These could damage your tank.
Do not use solutions containing chlorine bleach
Only a certified service technician should dissemble the unit should it be
needed.
Caution
To avoid electrical shock:
The power plug/appliance inlet is the disconnect device. Position the ultrasonic cleaner
so that the power cord is easily accessible.
The power cord supplied with the Ultrasonic cleaner is rated at 10amps. Do not t a
power cord rated to less than 10amps
Do unplug from power source before lling or emptying the tank
Do keep the control panel and area around the cleaner clean and dry – wipe up solution
which spills over the tank brim. Water and high voltage can cause electrical shock.
Do not operate the cleaner without proper grounding
Do not remove the grounding prong on the line cord plug.
Do not immerse the cleaner in water.
Subjecting the bath to improper treatment or misuse will invalidate the warranty.
