Care and Cleaning PROPER CARE OF STAINLESS STEEL WILL PREVENT RUSTING Midmark uses only USA-manufactured series 304 stainless steel. Series 304 is often referred to as medical-grade stainless steel due to its composition. Care and Cleaning There is an invisible passive film on all stainless steel that acts as a shield against corrosion. As long as this film is properly cared for, the metal is protected from corrosion. The following tips will assist you in this cleaning process. Avoid cleaners containing quaternary salts. Consult your cleaner supplier for these types of products. Care & Cleaning Cages Never use steel wool or steel brushes when cleaning your cage. Steel particles may become embedded into the stainless steel and cause rust. Midmark Stainless Steel Cages may be cleaned with any commercially available product recommended for use on stainless steel. Frequent cleaning will prolong the life and help maintain the natural luster of the stainless steel. Avoid use of chlorine bleach for cleaning.
Product Warranty This product is warrantied for 1 year from the date of delivery to the original purchaser only. The warranty is only applicable if customer complies with all instructions and specifications furnished by Midmark relating to installation, care, and application. The customer agrees not to modify, misapply, or misuse product in any manner which deviates from the Midmark instructions.
