OXIMETRY CALIBRATION CHECK
The oximeter is factory calibrated to determine the percentage of arterial oxygen saturation of
functional hemoglobin. No user calibration is required.
REPLACING THE MONITOR BATTERY
A part number for the battery can be found in the ACCESSORIES section of this manual or on
the label located on the inside panel of the battery pack. When the battery fails to hold a charge
it will need to be replaced.
CAS Medical Systems recommends the battery be changed every two (2) years.
REMOVING THE BATTERY
1) Turn the monitor “OFF” and disconnect the power cord.
2) Push down on the battery latch to unlock the battery door from the rear panel of the
monitor.
3) Carefully remove the battery pack from the rear panel of the monitor. Refer to Figure 16.
