MESSAGE
POSSIBLE CAUSE POSSIBLE SOLUTION
“Sig Sat” Motion pulses too strong. Limit patient activity.
Repeat measurement.
"Time Out" The monitor was unable to
complete a measurement within
150 seconds.
An extremely long measurement can be due
to a loose cuff, high blood pressure, or
monitor re-pumps.
Try measurement again. Try higher initial
pressure.
If message consistently reappears try using
another means to obtain patient's blood
pressure.
"Weak Sig" The monitor did not detect any
pulses during a NIBP
measurement.
Check the fit of the cuff.
Repeat measurement.
