Cleaning, Probing and Charting
Training
This training will help participants become familiar with best
practices for dental cleaning, probing and charting.
Training topics include:
• Preparation - including rinse, before and after photos, proper
attire and safety
• Execution - including tools, sub/supra gingival scaling,
polishing, probing and charting
• Instrument cleanup, maintenance and care
• Common pathology
• Anatomy review and Triadan numbering system
• Probing technique
• Hands-on practice of prep, scaling and polishing, probing
and charting
• Proper use and maintenance of your VetPro
®
high-speed
system
Veterinary Technicians who complete this session will earn 4
