The unit can be controlled by the unit control alone or with the remote controller.
SLEEP FEATURE: Operating Instructions Press Sleep button to initiate the sleep mode. In this mode the selected temperature will increase by 2°F/1 (or 2)°C 30 minutes after the mode is selected. The temperature will then increase by another 2°F/1 (or 2)°C after an additional 30 minutes. This new temperature will be maintained for 7 hours before it returns to the originally selected temperature. The Sleep mode program can be cancelled at any time during operation by pressing the Sleep button again.
To operate on Dry mode: Error codes: In this mode, the air conditioner will generally function as a dehumidifier. Since the conditioned space is a closed or sealed area, some degree of cooling will occur. AS - Room temperature sensor error Unplug the unit and plug it back in. If error repeats, call for service.
Additional Information Operating Instructions Now that you understand the operating procedure, here are more features in your control that you should become familiar with. • The Cool circuit has an automatic 3 minute time delayed start if the unit is turned off and on quickly. This prevents overheating of the compressor and possible circuit breaker tripping. The fan will continue to run during this time. • The control can display temperature in Fahrenheit or Celsius.

NOTICE Save the carton and these installation instructions for future reference. The carton is the best way to store the unit when not in use. 1. PREPARE THE WINDOW Lower sash must open sufficiently to allow a clear vertical opening (see dimension H in Table 1). Side louvers and the rear of the AC must have clear air space to allow enough airflow through the condenser for heat removal. The rear of the unit must be outdoors, not inside a building or garage.

5. SÉCURISATION DU CLIMATISEUR A. Placez le verrou de cadre entre les extensions de cadre et le rebord de la fenêtre comme indiqué (Figure 7A pour les fenêtres en bois), (Figure 7B pour les fenêtres en vinyle). Figure 7A Enfoncez des vis de blocage de 3/4 po (19 mm) ou 1/2 po (12,7 mm) à travers le verrou du cadre et dans l'appui de fenêtre. Figure 7B REMARQUE : Pour éviter que l'appui de fenêtre ne se fende, percez des avant-trous de 3 mm (1/8 po) avant d'enfoncer les vis.

CONSEILS DE DÉPANNAGE Veuillez consulter cette liste avant d’appeler le service de support. Cela peut vous faire économiser du temps et de l'argent. Le climatiseur se met en marche et s'arrête rapidement. Solution Le filtre à air est sale ou bouché. Nettoyez le filtre. Reportez-vous à la section Entretien et nettoyage. Pour dégivrer le serpentin, réglez l'appareil en mode FAN ONLY. La température est réglée trop élevée, réglez la température à un niveau plus bas.
