The Air Conditioner must be installed by qualified service personnel.
INSTALLATION LOCATION WIRING INDOOR UNIT SHOULD BE INSTALLED AT: CAUTION A place where there is enough room for installation and maintenance.(Refer to Chart 1) Refrigerant Pipe 100mm above 100mm above The ceiling is structurally sound to hold the Indoor Unit. A place that is well ventilated and the influence of weather is the least. A place that the airflow can reach every corners of the room. A place where the drain pipe can reach out easily.
4. CAUTION The drain pipe of indoor unit must be heat insulated, or it will condense dew, as well as the connections of the indoor unit. Hard PVC binder must be used for pipe connection, and make sure there is no leakage. With the connection part to the indoor unit, please be noted not to impose pressure on the side of indoor unit pipes.
2. Overhanging the Indoor unit CHECK THE LEAKAGE NOTE Do not lean the air conditioner when overhanging it because drain pump and water lever switch are installed inside. Adjust the gasket (down side) to 137mm over the ceiling. Hanging Bolt Check-point of indoor unit NOTE: in the chart A.............Lo-stop value B.............Hi-stop value C,D.........Joints of the connecting pipe to the indoor unit. Nut (Up Side) Gasket Installing Ear 137mm Check all the joints with the leak detector or soap water.
EXPEL AIR WITH A VACUUM PUMP Location of the ceiling hole and hanging screw bolts. (Please refer to owner's manual for operation methods of manifold value) Panel Length 1050 1. Screw the joint nuts A, B, C, D, and connect the charge hose of the manifold value with the charge port of low-pressure valve. 2. Connect charge hose with vacuum pump. 3. Open the Lo-handle of manifold value (low pressure) thoroughly. 4. Turn on the vacuum pump.
2. Hang the Panel Hang the panel at the hook of Indoor Unit left side. (Chart 14) CAUTION Hook Hook Too large torque will harm the bellmouthing and too small will cause leakage. Please determine the torque according to Table 2. Panel Tubing Size Torque F6.35mm 1420~1720 N cm (144~176 kgf cm) F9.53mm 3270~3990 N cm (333~407 kgf cm) F12.7mm 4950~6030 N cm (504~616 kgf cm) Panel Table 2 SELECT THE MEASURE OF EXPELLING THE AIR BY THE FOLLOWING TABLE Chart 14 Hang the panel 3.
NOTICES FOR BENDABLE PIPE The bending angle should not exceed 90O. Bending position is preferably in the bendable pipe. The larger the better it is. Do not bend the pipe more than three times. Connect Panel with Swing Motor Wire Connector (white) and Remote Controller Wire Connector after passing through a hole. (Chart 18) Hole BEND THE CONNECTING PIPE OF SMALL WALL THICKNESS Cut out a desired concave at the bending part of the insulating pipe. Then expose the pipe (cover it with tapes after bending).
Check if Air Filter is installed. Confirm the Strip Hook are not clipped between lnlet Grille and the Panel, then push the parts which marked "PUSH" and close the lnlet Grille. Drain elbow installation (Cooling Only Type Without) Fit the seal into the drain elbow, then insert the drain elbow into the base Check after installation completed Check there is no clearance between the panel and the Indoor Unit, or between the panel and the ceiling.
