Repeat the side arm foam installation steps on the other side of
the unit as well.
NOTE
E. The Anti-Tip Brackets (located in the U channel)
must be extended into the window track opening
(vertical track your window slides up and down
in) until they stop. First remove the screw that is
already in place. Secure the brackets in place by
reusing the screw you just removed.
D. In fi gure 18, the blue arrow points to the spot where the foam
should be installed. Figure 19 shows the fi nal installed position
of the foam.
WARNING
You must extend the Anti-Tip Brackets into the
Window Track Opening. Failure to follow this warning
may cause serious injury.
Top view
The currently installed screw
must be re-used to secure
the Anti-tip bracket. Failing
to use this screw could
damage the air conditioner.
