Chapter 3: Rear Panel
The rear panel comprises the following:
•X and Y AES50 audio digital EtherCon® XLR sockets.
•Two 25-way link sockets for linking the DSP units together.
•X and Y Ethernet control digital EtherCon® XLR sockets.
•X and Y Cobranet audio digital EtherCon® XLR sockets (not normally connected).
• 9-way D-type socket for service access only.
• Mains IEC socket and on/off switch.
•Air outlet.
Rear panel connections
Item Description
1 Mains IEC socket with adjacent on/off switch.
2 X and Y AES50 audio EtherCon® XLR sockets for passing audio and
control data to/from router.
3 Two link sockets for linking the backbone of the 10 DL471 DSP units.
4 X and Y Cobranet control EtherCon® XLR sockets. (Not normally
connected.)
5 X and Y Ethernet control EtherCon® XLR sockets for connection of
‘tunnelling’ Ethernet.
6 D-type connector for service access only.
