Operator Manual
snake panel
The snake panel monitors the communications on the optical
and Cat6e cabling. Each cable type has an ok and an error
LED. The ok LED pulsates when the link is synchronised
between the router and end point. The error LED illuminates
when either no communications or a fault are detected.
AES50 audio - bank panels
AES50 audio - bank 0 and AES50 audio - bank 1
panels monitor the communications on each digital
channel. Each has an ok and an error LED.
Ethernet control panel
The Ethernet control panel has 10 green LEDs,
numbered 1 to 10, which indicate the Ethernet
control activity to the DSP units.
system clock panel
The system clock panel has a two green LEDs, master and slave, that
illuminate to show whether this router is audio synchronisation master or
slave.
sync source panel
The sync source panel has three green LEDs, one of which
illuminates to indicate the source of the clock as follows:
internal - clock is sourced internally to the router.
external Word - clock is sourced from the word clock
connector on the rear panel of the router at 96kHz (see “Rear panel connections” on
page 8).
external AES3 - clock is sourced from the AES3 connectors on the rear panel of the
router at 96kHz (see “Rear panel connections” on page 8).
control expansion panel
The control expansion panel monitors the communications on
the Cat6e A and B cables and on the Ethernet.
