Encrypting a Proxy String
If your proxy server requires a password, you must encrypt it before you can continue.
Click the
tm_cli.exe link in the Web Protection Module – Enable/Configure Proxy
Settings document page to download a zipped version of the password encryption
utility.
1. Unzip the
tm_cli.zip file and place both the tm_cli.exe and TmpxCfg.dll
contents in a folder or
target_directory that you can easily access.
2. Open a DOS Command window and use the cd command to navigate to your
target_directory.
3. Enter the following command where the password you want to encrypt appears in
italics.
C:\target_directory\tm_cli.exe ACT_ENCRYPT_STRING password.
