Scanner Light Source

Light source :

The halogen lamp of 15V and 150W is used.

The lamp and reflector are assembled in one.

Light source parts :

The light guide is used. The conventional lens box (or mirror tube) is not used.

The light guide transmits “the light emitting from the halogen lamp” to the film

carrier, using the optical fiber.

The followings are the merits of using the optical fiber, comparing with the

conventional QSS machines.

*The relations between the positions of incoming beam and outgoing beam can

be positioned freely, so the appearance dimension can be designed smaller.

*The transmission rate of light is high, and it is possible to use the lamp that the

quantity of electricity is small.

*The life of lamp becomes longer.
