Appendix A: Troubleshooting 
This LCD monitor comes pre-adjusted with standard VGA timing. Due to 
output timing differences among various VGA cards, you may initially 
experience an unstable or unclear display when a new display mode or new 
VGA card is selected. 
Before applying any of the following troubleshooting procedures, you should 
first apply the Auto Adjust option in the OSD menu. 
PROBLEM: There is no picture on the LCD screen 
Check the color of the LED indicator on the LCD Monitor. 
z “GREEN”: During normal operation the LED light will be green. 
However, if the LED is green but there is no picture on the LCD screen, 
this indicates a malfunction. Call the vendor or your reseller. 
z “ORANGE”: Check the connection of the VGA cable to the monitor our 
output of your computer. 
z “NO POWER”: Make sure that the power cord is securely connected to 
the Adapter and that the light on the Adapter is green. 
PROBLEM: Text on the screen is not smooth 
Adjust the resolution to its true setting of 1024 x 768. 
PROBLEM: Missing Colors 
If any of the red, green, or blue colors is missing, check the signal cable to 
make sure it is securely connected. The pins in the cable could be loose and 
cause a bad connection
