3.7.2 Starting Windows NT Setup
Windows NT Setup, located on the Microsoft Windows NT compact disc, installs
Windows NT. Windows NT Setup provides a brief description of the available
key functions at the bottom of the screen.
During the Windows NT installation procedure, you may be prompted for your
computer type. Use Table 1 or Table 2 to determine your computer type and to
determine whether an installation diskette is required, based on the version of
Windows NT.

If your motherboard does not appear as one of the choices, then insert the
update and Windows NT firmware diskette. The following procedure supersedes
the Starting Setup on a RISC-Based Computer section of the Microsoft
