You can use either of the following apps on Surface:
OneNote app. Free app from the Windows Store
OneNote 2013 app. Desktop app that can be purchased with Office or separately
You can add and edit notes using either OneNote app. You can also use OneNote on your phone, so that you
can view and edit your notes on the go. (OneNote apps are available for Windows Phone, Android, and the

A few more things
File compatibility. Office 2013 apps can open files created with previous versions of Office. To check

Camera
Surface Pro has two cameras. You can use the front-facing camera for Skype calls, and the rear-facing camera to
record meetings and events. When Surface Pro is positioned on a desk using the first kickstand position (Surface
Pro 2 has two kickstand positions, Surface Pro has one), the rear-facing camera points straight ahead.
