SkyDrive
With SkyDrive, you'll never be without the documents, photos, and videos
that matter to you. Your Microsoft account includes cloud storage that’s
accessible from any of your devices—your computer, tablet, and phone.
To see what’s on your SkyDrive, go to Start and tap or click
SkyDrive. (You can also open the SkyDrive folder in File Explorer.)
All of the files that you’ve saved on SkyDrive appear (you can also open files
saved on Surface or your network). Tap or click a folder name to see the contents. Tap or click a file to open it.
Office files open in Office apps and music files open in Xbox Music.
Swipe down from the top edge of the screen to see commands.
Included with your Surface Pro 2 purchase: 200GB of free SkyDrive storage, for two years. To activate your free
SkyDrive storage, just use the code included in your Surface Pro 2 packaging. Offer details.
To learn more about using SkyDrive, see SkyDrive on Surface or Getting started with SkyDrive on Windows.com.
Tips
Pictures that you take with the Camera app are saved to SkyDrive by default. See the View photos and
