Lock screen and signing in
With a Microsoft account, personal settings like your lock screen and Start screen follow you to other devices.
Your favorite websites, browser history, and pinned sites on your Start screen move with you, as well.
If you don’t use Surface for a few minutes, the screen turns off and locks. When this happens, press a key (or
press and release the power button), then swipe up on the touchscreen.
Next, sign in to your account by typing your password.
Now let’s set up your email and other accounts.
