Customize your phone
4 When the receiving party answers, begin typing your conversation on
the TTY.
End a TTY call
• Press on the phone
Receive a TTY call
1 Make sure the TTY and phone are connected.
2 When the phone vibrates (this setting is up to the user), press
to answer the call, and then type your response on the TTY.
3 To hang up, press on the phone.
• OPTIONAL HEADSET
The HDE-1 headset can be purchased separately as an accessory.
Connect the headset
1 Plug the headset jack into the accessory
connection on the bottom end of your phone.
2 Place the round headset ear plug in your ear.
With the headset connected, you can
make, answer, and end calls as usual.
• Use the keypad to enter numbers
• Press to place a call
• Press to end a call
When in use, the headset microphone
hangs at the side of your head. Although
it may seem far from your mouth, you
can speak at normal volume.
