2 Scroll to the profile you wish to personalize and press Select.
3 Scroll to Customize and press Select.
4 Use the scroll keys to highlight any of the following options. Once
you’ve highlighted option you’d like to customize, press Select.
Note: You cannot rename the Normal profile.
Set a timed profile
You can set a profile to expire at a specific time. For example, suppose you
attend an event that requires you silence your phone. You set your phone
to Silent before the event starts, but forget to return it to Normal after
the event is over. During this time, you’ve missed several calls because you
didn’t hear your phone ring. A timed profile helps prevent this, as it
returns your phone to the default profile after it expires.
1 At the Start screen, press Menu 3-1 (Profiles - Normal).
Standard profile Options
Ringing options Select the style of your ringing tone
Ringing tone Select a ringing tone for incoming calls
Ringing volume Set the volume of your ringing tone
Vibrating alert Turn vibrating alert on or off
Message alert tone Select the tone for received messages
Keypad tones Set the keypad tone volume and type
Warning tones Turn warning and confirmation tones on or off
Accepted caller
groups
Define which calls to accept or not accept
(from the list of caller groups)
Profile name Rename the profile
