SIM card and battery

• CHARGE THE BATTERY

You can use the phone while the charger is connected.

1 Connect the charger to a

standard wall outlet.

2 Insert the charger plug into the

round jack in the bottom of the

phone.

The battery power indicator

(or battery bar) appears on the screen and starts

scrolling. If the phone is on, Charging appears

briefly on the screen. When the battery bar stops

scrolling, the battery charge is complete. Battery

full appears also, if the phone is on.

3 Disconnect the charger from the phone.

• REMOVE THE SIM CARD

If you ever need to remove the SIM card, follow these steps.

1 Remove the back cover and battery. See “Remove the back cover and battery”

on page 9.

2 Press the plastic tab of the SIM card holder down.

3 Gently push the SIM card towards the top of the phone and remove it.
