Before you log into IM, the IM menu appears as follows:

The first time you use IM, you need to enter your user name and password and

select the IM provider you want to use. After the first login, you do not have to

select the IM provider again, unless you want to change it. See “IM settings” on

page 102 for more information.

Every time you log in, you receive screen prompts for your user name and password.

You do not have to manually enter your user name; however, you must manually

enter your password every time you log in.

First time login

1 Select Menu > IM > Login and your IM service provider.

2 Enter your user name and select Options > OK.

3 Enter your password and select Options > OK.
