To avoid potential interference, each wireless pointing device transmits data using a unique
code, which the receiver is preset to accept. In rare circumstances, you may want to use the
receiver with a different wireless pointing device of the same model.
Pressing the receiver button allows the receiver to connect to different pointing device. The
receiver light blinks to indicate that it is in “connect” mode, waiting for the button on the
bottom of the pointing device to be pressed. When the light stops blinking, the receiver has
either successfully connected with the pointing device or is no longer in “connect” mode.
The receiver light also turns on when it successfully receives information from the wireless
pointing device, such as a device movement or a button press.
