View the details of an application
Select the application.
Remove an application from your phone
You can remove installed applications that you no longer want to keep or use, to
increase the amount of available memory.
Tap and hold the Applications view, and select
on the application.
Once confirmed and started, the uninstallation process cannot be cancelled.
If you remove an application, you may not be able to open files created with the removed
application.
If an installed application depends on a removed application, the installed application
may stop working. For details, see the user guide of the installed application.
To view the details of an application before removing it, select
> Applications >
Manage applications and the application. To remove the application, select
Uninstall.
Restore an application package
You can create a backup file for your phone and, if needed, later restore the application
packages you want.
You may not be able to restore some of the installed applications.
1 Select
> Sync and backup > Backup.
2 Select a backup file to restore and Restore, and follow the displayed instructions.
3 After the restore, you are asked if you also want to restore application packages. If
there are packages to be restored, to view the available packages, select Yes.
4 Select the application package to restore and Restore.
You can also restore application packages later. Select > Applications > Manage
applications.
Memory
Increase available memory so you can add more content
Do you need to increase the available phone memory, so you can install more
applications or add more content?
You can delete the following if no longer needed:
• Text, multimedia, and mail messages
