Introduction The Nokia Bluetooth Headset BH-900 allows you freedom to make and receive calls while on the move or in the office. The headset has a sliding boom that allows to answer and end calls and to talk at a lower volume or in a noisy environment. You can connect the headset to a compatible phone that supports Bluetooth wireless technology. Read this user guide carefully before using the headset.

Get started ■ Overview The headset contains the following parts as shown in the figure: • Indicator light (1) • Volume key (2) • Power key (3) • Sliding boom (4) • Answer/end key (5) • Charger connector (6) • Earphone (7) • Microphone (8) Before you can start using the headset, you must charge the battery and pair the headset with a compatible phone. Note: Parts of the headset are magnetic.

Do not attempt to remove the battery from the device as you may damage the device. 1. Connect the charger to a wall outlet. 2. Connect the charger cable to the headset as shown in the figure. The red indicator light is displayed during charging. If charging does not start, disconnect the charger, plug it in again, and retry.

Enter the passcode 0000 to pair and connect the headset to your phone. In some phones you may need to make the connection separately after pairing. See the user guide of your phone for details. Basic use ■ Place the headset on the ear Place the headset over your ear into a comfortable position, and point it toward your mouth as shown in the figure. ■ The sliding boom The sliding boom brings the microphone closer to your mouth, which improves the audio quality even when you talk at a low volume or in a noisy environment. You can use the boom to answer, end, or reject a call.

To reject an incoming call, pull the boom down and push it immediately up, or briefly press the answer/end key twice. To end a call, push the boom up to its initial position, press the answer/ end key, or use the phone keys. ■ Adjust the earphone volume Press the volume key up to increase or down to decrease the volume.
