The main parts of the Wireless Car Kit are the handsfree unit (HF-1W) and the remote control button (CU-2). Read this user’s guide carefully before using the Wireless Car Kit. The parts of the remote control button are described below. For information about other parts of the car kit, refer to the installation guide that comes with it. 1 - Button: Answers or ends a call. This button can also be used for voice dialling, redialling and switching an active call between the car kit and the phone.

The phone searches for all Bluetooth devices within about 10 meters and shows them as a list. 5. Select the car kit from the list. 6. Enter the passkey to associate ("pair") and connect the car kit to your phone. The passkey is marked on the card that is provided in the sales package of the Wireless Car Kit.

Using the remote control button Before using the car kit, make sure that • the car ignition is turned on. • the car kit is paired and connected to your phone. You can also answer and end the call by using your phone. When you receive a call, you hear a ringing tone selected on your phone. ■ Rejecting a call If you do not want to answer a call, press the button twice briefly.

The car kit can be disconnected in the following ways: • Turn off the car ignition.

When you reset the car kit, all of its settings, including pairing information, are cleared. To reset the car kit: Make sure the car kit is turned off. Press and hold the remote control button for about 10 seconds until the indicator light starts to flash.
