Introduction 3 Introduction About your headset With the Nokia Bluetooth Headset BH-118, you can make and receive calls while on the move. Read this user guide carefully before using the product. Also, read the user guide for the device that you connect to the product. Warning: This product may contain small parts. Keep them out of the reach of small children. The surface of this product is nickel-free.

Metallic materials may be attracted to the product. Do not place credit cards or other magnetic storage media near the product, because info stored on them may be erased. Charge the battery Before using the headset, you must charge the battery.
Get started 1 2 3 5 Plug the charger into a wall outlet. Connect the charger cable to the charger connector on the headset. The red indicator light turns green when the battery is fully charged. Charging the battery fully may take up to 2 hours. Disconnect the charger from the headset, then unplug from the wall outlet. The fully charged battery has power for up to 6 hours of talk time or up to 120 hours of standby time.
3 4 5 6 Get started If you have never paired the headset, or you have cleared the pairings, switch the headset on. for 5 If you have previously paired your headset with a device, press and hold seconds. The headset switches to pairing mode, and a green indicator light starts to flash quickly. Within 3 minutes, switch Bluetooth on in your phone, then set it to search for Bluetooth devices. For details, see the user guide of your phone. Select the headset from the list of found devices.
Make calls 7 To have the earpiece within easy reach when not using the headset, keep the earpiece in the holder. Make calls Make and receive calls To make and receive calls using your headset, you need to connect it to your phone. Make a call Make a call in the normal way. Answer or end a call Press . Reject a call twice. Press Switch a call from your headset to a compatible phone for 2 seconds, or switch the headset off.
Make calls When you're not in a call, you can redial the last called number or use voice dialling, if your phone supports these features with the headset. Redial the last called number twice. Press Use voice dialling for 2 seconds, then follow the instructions in the user guide of your Press and hold phone. Change the volume Set the desired volume level on your connected phone. The selected volume level is saved as the minimum volume level for the phone that is currently connected to the headset.
Settings 9 End an ongoing call, and activate a held call Press . If you redial or use voice dialling, the call is made on the phone you last had an active call on with the headset. Settings Clear device pairings for 5 seconds. 1 To switch the headset off, press and hold 2 Press and hold for 9 seconds. The headset beeps twice, and the red and green indicator lights alternate. After the pairings are cleared, the headset enters pairing mode.
