Distances shorter than 1.6 m (5.25 ft) cannot be measured with this EDM.
Note – The target should not receive direct sunlight.
Note – Reference target” refers to a white, highly reflective material.
Note – For measurements at short range (approximately 1.6 m to 5 m (5.2 ft to 16.4 ft) to
the mini prism, or 1.6 m to 10 m (5.2 ft to 33 ft) to the standard prism), it is recommended
that you use a Nikon original prism to maintain accuracy.

shorter distances than these, the precision is ± 5 mm.
