9.6 XON/XOFF Control
The XON/XOFF protocol is a very simple, but efficient data transmission protocol
which is used by the Trimble M3 total station as well as terminal applications such as
Hyperterminal and Xtalk.
Make sure that your PC application is configured for XON/XOFF operation when
communicating with the Trimble M3 total station.
9.7 Downloading internal memory to an office computer
To use data transfer functions, press [MENU] [7] Data
Transfer

• To transfer recorded data in the instrument to
the office computer, press
