How to Access Enterprise Features
Each of these enterprise features is enabled in Windows Embedded 8.1 Industry Enterprise edition, which is available
as an upgrade license through Microsoft Volume Licensing.
Note: Devices must be re-imaged when the Windows Embedded 8.1 Industry Enterprise edition is installed.
For devices that are licensed for Windows Embedded 8 Standard, you can acquire the Windows Embedded 8
Standard Enterprise Kit license to enable the DirectAccess, BranchCache, AppLocker, and Enterprise Sideloading
features, which are present but disabled in the OEM version of the software.
